I would give Simon Smith 6 stars( or more!) if that was possible. I feel so fortunate to have had him as my surgeon. He has the most reassuring manner and certainly put me at ease when dealing with a prognosis that came as quite a shock. He is honest and clear and guided me through the whole process. I can’t fault him and feel thankful to be under his care.

If your looking for a honest caring surgeon! Then Simon is most definitely your man! From the minute I met him I knew I felt safe and at ease and that Simon was most definitely the man. His bed side manner speaks volumes. His honest and will tell you exactly how it is! He generally cares about his patients! I cannot recommend Simon enough! I’ve so pleased with everything! I went to Simon with tethering (puckering) in my breasts. I had all tests from mammograms to biopsies to ultrasound to MRI and got diagnosed with lobular cancer. Two lots of surgery, a month apart, but positive results from Simon, three weeks after the last op, which the waiting is the worst part, who worked his magic and eradicated the cancer. Everyone at Springfield Hospital from Simon (complete respect to this awesome Surgeon), Theresa the Breast Nurse, Sanjay and all the Nurses from Ultrasound, the Anaesthetists, the Nurses in the Recovery Room, Jenny and the Nurses in the Day Ward were so caring, professional and definitely made me feel more comfortable with my journey. These committed professionals are all absolutely amazing!

I met the amazing Simon Smith after finding out that I had the BRACCA 1 gene. After watching my Mum die of cancer I was keen to undergo a bilateral double mastectomy with removal of nipples. Simon was incredible, so caring and compassionate of my situation and wanted to ensure I was making the right decision for me. Gave me all other options available and ensured I had counselling. The operation was a great success and I am so unbelievably happy with the outcome, it’s given me peace and taken away my daily worries. I knew exactly what to expect from start to finish and Simons work is artistry! Would recommend to absolutely anyone, couldn’t find a better surgeon!
